CRIME fiction 'supergroup' the Fun Lovin' Crime Writers will perform in Belfast next month as special guests of the NOIReland International Crime Fiction Festival.

Comprising some of the genre's best-known names including Val McDermid, Mark Billingham, Christopher Brookmyre, Luca Veste, Doug Johnstone and Northern Ireland's own Stuart Neville, the Fun Lovin' Crime Writers will perform a set of crime-themed hits at Oh Yeah on November 2.

Prior to their set, the FLCW will submit to an interrogation by Belfast author Steve Cavanagh (Thirteen), who will probe the players on their careers, musical passions and latest books.

This special 'pop up' gig and talk is a NOIRish Nights event aimed at tiding crime fiction fans over until the return of NOIReland proper in March 2019.

Your next NOIRish Night will be on Friday November 16 when best-selling crime writer Ian Rankin will be in conversation with Brian McGilloway at the Hilton Hotel about his latest novel In A House of Lies and the recent 30th anniversary of his iconic detective John Rebus.
