20 Years of Planet Love will be headlined by Dutch hardstyle DJ Headhunterz

THE Planet Love dance music festival is returning to Belfast, this time as part of Féile an Phobail's 30th anniversary celebrations.

Taking place on August 8 at the new outdoor concert space in Falls Park, which has a capacity of over 10,000, 20 Years of Planet Love will be headlined by Dutch hardstyle DJ Headhunterz, AKA Willem Rebergen.

Support acts will include Marco V, Alex Kidd, Kutski, Aly and Fila, John O'Callaghan, Judge Jules, Scot Project and Dave Pearce.

Féile an Phobail director Kevin Gamble says: "We have been working hard over the past few months to secure Planet Love for this year's 30th anniversary of Féile an Phobail.

"The news that Headhunterz is to headline the event is fantastic, along with support from world renowned DJs. Four local DJs will also have their chance to play on the same bill with some of the worlds biggest dance artists.

"Planet Love is going to be a spectacular event and an incredible occasion and this is Féile's way of saying thank you to everyone for all the support over many, many years."

Tickets 20 Years of Planet Love are free, with the first 1,000 tickets now available via the Féile office on the Falls Road. Tickets will also be available online from Glisstr from 9am today via the link at FB.com/feilebelfast.

Gamble adds: "Everyone attending will need a ticket – and once the tickets are gone, they are gone."

Other music events for Féile 2018 include Cara Dillon at Clonard Monastery (August 6) and Olly Murs at Falls Park (August 11).
