ARCTIC Monkeys have announced an Irish date at Dublin's 3Arena on September 24, tickets for which go on sale this morning at 9am.

The Sheffield indie rockers will be releasing their first album for five years next month: recorded with their regular producer James Ford, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino will be out on Friday May 11.

The record will coincide with the Monkeys' latest world tour, which kicks off in Los Angeles on May 5 at The Hollywood Forever Cemetery (where else?) and includes the September Irish date, which will feature support from Long Island duo The Lemon Twigs.

Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino will be available on limited edition silver vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, for sale exclusively via the official Arctic Monkeys' online store, as well as standard CD, vinyl and digital – all available to pre-order/pre-save now.

:: Tickets for the Dublin show are priced €65.95 and go on sale at 9am via Ticketmaster.
