THIS news just in: Box Car Blues Brothers band leader Rich 'Elwood' Dale today declared that Stevie Wonder will not, in fact, be joining them tomorrow evening at The Limelight 2 in Belfast for the group's spectacular rhythm and blues revue.

While his latest missive contradicts previous statements by Brian Talent, the non-existent former road manager of this recently realised Belfast-based eight-piece tribute act, Dale (the tall-ish one) declared that this was "the end of the matter" adding that he hoped everyone could now "get on and just enjoy the show."

The band's set is said to include hits such as Shake A Tailfeather, Everybody Needs Somebody, Soul Man, Think, Minnie The Moocher, Rawhide, Sweet Home Chicago, Hey Bartender, Flip-Flop & Fly, Jailhouse Rock and other recognisable songs from The Blues Brothers soundtrack and wider soul music universe.

When asked about the rumoured Stevie Wonder appearance, Box Car Blues Brother frontman Tom 'Jake' McShane (the other one) said "no comment" before the pair took off towards Forestside Shopping Centre in their police package 1974 Dodge Monaco with Co Armagh plates.
