THE annual Panarts Belfast Nashville Songwriters' Festival will return in March 2018 for another celebration of country, folk and Americana.

Glen Campbell's daughter Ashley helped launch the 14th edition of the popular music festival yesterday: she will be appearing during its run from March 7 to 11 at Belfast's Clayton Hotel alongside the likes of Una Healy, Kaz Hawkins, Matt McGinn and Texas songsmith Jarrod Dickenson.

"We’re putting talented local songwriters centre stage and for the 14th year," commented Panarts director Colin Magee.

"BelNash is showcasing the creative people who write the memorable songs. It’s a special festival and an important part of the music calendar in Belfast."

The famous CMA Songwriters Series will also have a presence at BelNash 2018. Nashville and bluegrass hit writers Chris Jones and The Nightriders performing alongside Brace, Cooper and Jutz,

Americana artist Katie Pruit will be joined by local songwriters Triona and Aidan Logan and the regular Song Writing Convention will feature 12 workshops.
