PIONEERING electro-rocker Gary Numan has added a Belfast date to his tour for new album Savage: Songs From A Broken World, at The Limelight on Wednesday March 28, 2018.

Released in September and featuring the catchy single My Name Is Ruin, Numan's 22nd LP is a follow-up to his previous critically praised release, Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind), from 2014.

"The songs are about the things that people do in such a harsh and terrifying environment," the electro star explains of the new record, his soundtrack to an imaginary post-apocalyptic world gone to seed.

"It's about a desperate need to survive and they do awful things in order to do so, and some are haunted by what they've done. That desire to be forgiven, along with some discovered remnants of an old religious book, ultimately encourages religion to resurface – and it really goes downhill from there."

Currently on tour in America, fans at recent shows have been treated to other highlights from the latest record like Ghost Nation, Mercy and When The World Comes Apart, recent gems including Love Hurt Bleed and Here In The Black and old favourites such as Cars, Down In the Park and Are 'Friends' Electric?

:: Tickets on sale today from 10am via Limelightbelfast.com, Ticketmaster.ie or in person at Katy's Bar Belfast and Ticketmaster outlets.
