THE good folks at No Alibis bookshop will be bringing the supremely talented US author and musician Willy Vlautin back to Belfast next year to coincide with the publication of his new novel, Don't Skip Out On Me.

On Sunday January 28, Willy Vlautin: Words and Music at Crescent Arts Centre will find the Reno-born man playing songs by his bands Richmond Fontaine and The Delines, plus some of the new Richmond Fontaine-played instrumentals featured on the full length soundtrack for Don't Skip, with a little help from David Murphy on pedal steel.

Although the novel isn't out until February, Willy will have copies of it for sale at this special event, which will also find him 'in conversation' with BBC Radio Ulster man and Scene's very own Cult Movie columnist Ralph McLean.
