BELFAST'S annual Culture Night is but a couple of weeks away and this year the city centre centric event is bigger than ever.

Indeed, this year's programme runs to an impressive 40 pages in length – not bad going for a one-day festival – with a pretty overwhelming amount of happenings and activities scheduled to take place between 1pm and 10pm in the streets and venues around six main 'hubs'; Belfast City Hall, Rosemary Street/Lombard Street, The Big Fish, St Anne’s Cathedral, Royal Avenue (outside Culture Night Office) and Edwards Car Park (outside The Black Box).

Yes, Culture Night 2017 will encompass everything from live music and BMX stunt displays to Lithuanian Folk Dancing and Brexit-themed Shakespearean street theatre, plus plenty of 'pop-up' food and drink vendors to help keep your energy levels topped up throughout the evening.

Last year's events brought close to 100,000 people out on to the city centre streets – and, to be honest, the best way to experience Culture Night is just to grab a programme, get out there and start wandering.

You never know what you'll stumble across just by following your ears, eyes and nose.
