Man charged with assaulting three police officers

A 31-year-old man has been charged with assaulting three police officers in Ballymena.

The man was arrested after police attended a report of criminal damage at a property in the Glensheck Drive area of Ballymena on Wednesday.

The man has been charged with three counts of assaulting police and criminal damage.



He is due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Friday, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
