Binevenagh Forest

Binevenagh Forest lies 5 miles north of Limavady. It is overlooking Binevenagh lough and from certain places there are splendid views of Lough foyle and the mountains of Donegal. Mature conifer and broadleaved woodland as well as a selection of arctic and alpine plant life make this on of the countries best forests.



Springwell Forest

Situated on both sides of the main A37 road from Derry to Coleraine this 1142 hectare forest provides a home to rabbits foxes stoats badgers as well as brown hares and hedgehogs. The mix of conifers include Sitka Norway Spruce Japanese Larch and various others. Facilities here include a picnic area caravan and camping park and walking trails.
