Roe Valley Country Park

The Roe Valley Country Park between Limavady and Dungiven on the B192 was a thriving linen centre and contains Ulster's first domestic hydo-electric power station on the River Roe (1896).

There are photos of the flax production in the Dogleap Countryside Centre, a museum in the weaving sheds, a scutch mill and watch towers from which the bleaching linen was guarded. The scenic Bineveagh plateau is also nearby.

The Guy Wilson Daffodil Garden

This garden is dedicated to the memory of Guy L Wilson of Broughshane (1855-1962) one of the country's leading hybridists and the man who did most to develop daffodil breeding in Ireland over the past fifty years. The Garden is just outside Coleraine, the county's second largest town.
