EUROPE's largest LGBT+ inclusive rugby tournament had its official launch today in Dublin.

THE 2019 Union Cup will see 45 teams from 15 countries competing from June 7-9 for the Union Cup, the Union Plate and the Union Bowl.

For the first time there will be a dedicated women's cup and teams from across the island, both IGR and non-IGR, are invited to enter.

The inaugural Union Cup was hosted in 2005 and seven teams competed. This year's host team are Dublin rugby club Emerald Warriors.
