James Haskell denies that he is dead in bizarre YouTube video

It would appear that fake news reports of James Haskell’s death were wide of the mark, after the England international was compelled to take to YouTube to deny rumours he was deceased.

The 31-year-old Wasps player begins the video by saying: “There are quite a lot of fake news stories operating on Facebook”, before confirming that he is very much alive.

Haskell denies that he had died of a steroid or drug overdose, and also squashes rumours that he’s been selling drugs.

“Rest assured, I’m not dead,” says Haskell. Good to know James, good to know.
