ARMAGH’S road bowlers travel to Greenagh, county Cork this weekend for the first instalment of the All-Ireland finals.

Orchard county footballers Ethan Rafferty (Junior A) and Kelly Mallon (Ladies’ senior) are both in action and there are also finals at U18 (boys and girls), U14 boys and mens’ intermediate level.

Mallon saw off beat former All-Ireland intermediate champion Siobhan Mackle in the Ulster decider and travels south in search of her eighth All-Ireland title when she takes on Carmel Ryan. Rafferty meets Johnny O’Driscoll on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Paul O’Reilly booked his place in the Mens’ Senior Ulster final when he dethroned reigning champion Thomas Mackle on the Madden Road on Sunday.

Mackle started as hot favourite and took an early lead but the consistent O’Reilly overhauled him and now faces his cousin Bryan in the Ulster senior final.
