The talented west Belafst man is pictured at the Wushu awards ceremony with Lord Mayor of Belfast Brian Kingston and Jonathan Bell, MLA, who is honorary vice-president of the Confucius Institute, along with a group of the world’s leading Wushu Grandmasters who flew in from China. Grandmasters Li de Run, Huo Rui Ting, Zhang Yuanxi, Lu Shao Jun, Mai Yuqiang, Xie Yelei and Zhu Changhai conducted the four-day grading examinations involving around 80 students at the University of Ulster complex in Jordanstown. Picture by Cliff Donaldson
