The hurlers from St Mary's Belfast have won the Electric Ireland Fergal Maher Cup after defeating GMIT Letterfrack.

They won 0-20 to 3-7 in Saturday's final in Mallow and manager Collie Murphy, whose sons Deaglan and Tiarnan are on the team, said it was a tremendous achievement.

"When they're my age, they can go and have a beer and talk about their great weekend in Mallow when they won an All Ireland. It's a special occasion'."
