Leinster Senior Hurling Club Championship final: Cuala (Dublin) v Kilcormac-Killoughey (Offaly) (tomorrow, O’Moore Park, 2pm, live on TG4)

HAVING secured a first-ever Leinster title last year, Dublin side Cuala are overwhelming favourites to retain their provincial crown when they meet Kilcormac-Killoughey in O’Moore Park tomorrow.

Mattie Kenny’s side went on to claim the All-Ireland last season, and they seem refreshed and refocussed after an extended break following that success.

They had seven points to spare over Dicksboro in the Leinster quarter-final and defeated St Martin’s by 11 points in the semi-final, Con O’Callagahn hitting 1-3 from play in both games and having a hand in many other scores.

The Offaly side have been equally comfortable against Castletown Geoghegan and Mount Leinster Rangers

Their captain Peter Healion looks set to be available having been carried off against the Carlow champions in the semi-final. There had been fears that he may have broken his leg but he could yet play some part.

They will, however, be without Cillian Kiely after his appeal of a red card picked up last time out fell on deaf ears.

Kilcormac-Killoughey were the last Offaly side to win this competition when they defeated Oulart-the-Ballagh five years ago, but a second title looks highly unlikely.
