FORMER GAA President Joe McDonagh has died.
The former hurler for Galway passed away following a short illness, the GAA said on Twitter.
The death is announced of Joe McDonagh, Uachtarán CLG 1997-2000, after a short illness. Deeply regretted by family, friends & GAA community.

Mr McDonagh served as President of the GAA from 1997-2000. His predecessor Jack Boothman, who served as President from 1994 to 1997, passed away last Tuesday.
