DOWN and Armagh will face-off against each other in the National Hurling League Division 2B final after both sides won their final games on Sunday.

The Mourne men came out on top in Ballycran against Meath, winning on a 2-17 to 1-13 scoreline. They will now hope to go one better than last year and make it out of Division 2B at the expense of Armagh.

The Orchard county, meanwhile, booked their place in the division final with a 1-17 to 1-10 victory over Mayo at the Athletic Grounds. At the other end of Division 2B, Donegal lost their relegation play-off dress rehearsal to Wicklow in Aughrim.

Antrim finished their Division 2A campaign on a miserable note as they lost by two-points to London in Ruislip, while Derry will drop to Division 2B after losing by 2-18 to 1-16 to Kildare in Newbridge.

In Division 3A, a combination of a Monaghan win and a Fingal defeat handed the Farney county a final spot against Roscommon. Fermanagh will have a semi-final to play after they comfortably defeated Leitrim in Division 3B.

In Division 1A, meanwhile, Tipperary defeated Cork at Semple Stadium while Kilkenny beat Dublin in Nowlan Park. Kerry scored a shock win over Offaly in Division 1B, but the Faithful county still have a quarter-final to look forward to against the Cats.

Clare guaranteed promotion to Division 1A for next season with a four-point victory over Limerick at Cusack Park.
