DERRY manager Tom McLean has made two changes to his side for this Sunday’s NHL Division 2A trip to Westmeath.

The Oak Leafers fell to an opening day defeat to Antrim at Celtic Park last Sunday when, having led at half-time by five points, they succumbed to a strong Saffron resurgence in the second period to ultimately lose by six points.

The first change for the trip to Cusack Park comes at centre half-back, where Brendan Quigley of Na Magha has been replaced by experienced Kevin Lynch’s defender Paddy Kelly, who made an appearance from the bench last weekend. The other switch is at wing-back, where Meehaul McGrath from county champions Slaughtneil replaces Lavey’s Dermot O’Neill.

Westmeath opened their account with a nine-point win over London last weekend.
