Cavan's Leona Maguire has come agonisingly close to capturing her second LPGA title, going down to American Jennifer Kupcho in a three-way playoff at the Meijer Classic in Michigan.
Kupcho claimed victory with a birdie on the second extra playoff hole after Maguire's three-foot birdie attempt lipped out.
The pair closed out the final round tied for the lead on 18 under alongside America's Nelly Korda.
Korda dropped out of the playoff after three-putting on the first extra trip down the par-5 18th.
Maguire claimed victory at the Drive On Championship in February to become the first Irish winner in LPGA Tour history.
