ERIN’S OWN, CARGIN: The official opening of phase one of the club’s 2020 development plan will take place on Saturday, starting at 7.30pm. This will also be a reception for the Northern Switchgear Antrim senior and minor football championship winning teams. Light refreshments will be served. All welcome.

ST BRONAGH’S, ROSTREVOR: As part of the club’s centenary year , there will be a special chat night at the social club on Saturday, featuring special guests Mickey Harte, Pete McGrath and Paddy O’Rourke. Events gets under way at 8pm, tickets £10 at the door.

Meanwhile, the annual Friends of Rostrevor gala ball will tie in with the centenary celebrations as the ‘Centenary Gala Ball’. It will take place in the Canal Court Hotel on November 30. Tickets are £50, dress code is black tie but red/black dresses are not compulsory!

Friends of Rostrevor will receive two complimentary tickets as normal. They will receive their letter and invite in due course. Corporate tables will also be available to purchase. Further ticket details and how to buy will be published soon.

GLASDRUMMAN: On Tuesday, October 29 at 7pm there will be a meeting with the club’s EA support worker for any secondary school aged kids who are interested in getting involved in a youth programme this year. Meanwhile, a shopping trip to the Belfast Christmas Market and city centre will take place on Saturday, November 30. BALLYMARTIN: There will be a Halloween trip for U6 and U8s tomorrow, leaving Pat’s Road at 5pm, going to Warrenpoint Friar Tucks and on to Sticky fingers in Newry for the Halloween show. Come in Halloween costumes if you wish.

The bus will return to Pat’s Road at approximately 8.45pm. The cost of this trip is £10, and places will be allocated on a first come basis. Contact cultural officer Sinead directly on - all parents/volunteers welcome.

ST PATRICK’S, EGLISH: The club is hosting ‘St Mungo’s Luganulk 2 - The Umpire Strikes Back’ in the sports hall on Saturday, November 2 at 8.30pm. Tickets are available from McCann's Shop, Daly's Spar and any committee member.

ST JOSEPH’S, EDERNEY: The ‘Spooktacular Walk’ takes place this Sunday from 6.30pm in the GAA grounds. Entrance from MUGA car park, get your tickets and consent form from Maria 07821 084173, Brenda 07813 160436 or Kate 07765 497168 and use the fast entry lane on Sunday. Admission £5 by ticket only. Please note Ederney community gym will be closed on Sunday from 3pm due to the Halloween walk, and will reopen on Monday.
