BALLYMARTIN: The club’s third annual U10 tournament is scheduled for Saturday, October 5. Invites are currently being sent, running times etc are all being arranged. ST JOHN’S, DRUMNAQUOILE: The walking group is running a bus to the Echlinville Gin distillery on the Ards peninsula on Saturday, September 7. There will be an optional walk to work up a thirst beforehand. The bus will leave St John’s at 9am, returning 6pm(ish). ST JOHN’S, BELFAST: Fit4Life activities resume at the club in September. There will be yoga every Thursday, starting September 5 (7-8pm), pilates every Tuesday starting September 17 (7.30-8.30pm), with circuit classes every Monday and Wednesday starting Monday, September 16 (6pm). The rambling retirees meet every Tuesday, starting September 17 (10am), the Golden Eagles resume with a trip to the Connelly Centre on Friday, September 27. Finally, a group of 16 club members, including chairman Gerry McCann, are walking the Camino across the Pyrenees from September 3-11.
