The Special Championship match between Antrim and Derry will take place at Kickham’s, Creggan at 5pm on Saturday. The Gaelic football match gives players with learning disabilities or Downs syndrome their chance to shine and enjoy playing our games in front of a large crowd of supporters and family. SEAN O’LEARY’S, NEWBRIDGE: Please return all sold tickets for the All-Ireland Weekend draw to the hall tomorrow between 7.30-8pm.

CUMANN PHEADAIR NAOFA: The club is making a final push for the ‘Our Vision’ initiative, which has generated over £260,000 in seven weeks towards the payment of the Pony Field in Moygannon. There is a week left to raise the remaining £120,000 to make full payment for the field by August 31.

The ‘Our Vision’ project is future proofing Warrenpoint GAA for generations to come, and if you haven’t signed up yet there is still time.

GLEN ROVERS, ARMOY: The club will host the McAuley Cup final between Loughgiel Shamrocks and Kevin Lynch's, Dungiven on Wednesday, August 28 at 7pm. Both teams will see this final as vital preparation for their respective senior championship semi-finals in September. Eamon Downey (piper) will lead both teams around the pitch at 6.55pm.

St John's, Drumnaquoile’s big summer of ladies’ Gaelic continued last week as the U14 girls were crowned league champions. Over 100 supporters packed into the clubroom to see them enjoy their celebrations and, after all the hard work done on the pitch, it was only fitting that Francis Rogan presented the trophy to Shauna Magorrian on the pitch

St Peter's, Lurgan host their annual golf classic at Lurgan Golf Club tomorrow. With support from its principal sponsor, LA Drinks, and over £10,000 worth of prizes the event has proved more popular than ever, with only a few late morning slots remaining. To book, contact 07905 456632
