MICKEY Harte has put his trust in the players who got Tyrone into a potential relegation mess to get them out of it by naming an unchanged side for Sunday’s clash with Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park.
Last Sunday, Tyrone were well beaten by a Mayo side that out-worked the Red Hands all over the field and ran out nine-point winners.
Conan Grugan, Padraig Hampsey, Kyle Coney, Conal McCann and Conor Meyler were all introduced from the bench last Sunday but haven't forced their way into the announced starting XV for what is a crucial game as Tyrone go in search of their first League points of the season. Roscommon recovered from a first round loss to beat Monaghan (who went into the game having beaten Dublin in their opener) on home soil last Sunday.
Meanwhile, after bossing Tyrone in Healy Park last Sunday, Division One leaders Mayo host Cavan at Elverys MacHale Park tomorrow night.
With four points on the board manager James Horan has made five changes to the team that started in Omagh and into the side come goalkeeper David Clarke, full-back Ger Cafferkey, rookie midfielder Matthew Ruane and Evan Regan and Colm Moran, who makes his debut in the full-forward line.
Dropping out are Rob Hennelly, Brendan Harrison, Donal Vaughan, Ciaran Treacy and Brian Reape. 2016 All-Ireland U21 winner Ruane will be making his first start at senior level having come off the bench late on last Sunday.
