HENRY JOY McCRACKEN’S, MONEYMORE: The club has re-launched its annual road race as one standalone five mile race to take place tomorrow night at 7.30pm. We are delighted to welcome Time Cookstown and their new beer garden, Jailbird, as the major sponsor for this inaugural event.

This year we will have prizes for the first, second and third placed male and female competitors, as well as well 40/50/60 category prizes. The prize fund totals a whopping £500 so interest should be high, with PBs the order of the day.

There will also be a one mile fun run, with medals for all the participants. It costs £3 per child/adult or two for £5.

The main event will be chip-timed and all entrants will receive a goody bag and refreshments afterwards. The night out will cost you only £10. To enter, DM Facebook or Twitter Moneymore 5, ring 07879 33850, or visit the Klubfunder site.

EIRE OG, DERRIAGHY: Tickets for the dinner dance are now on sale. It is to be held on Saturday, October 6 at the Balmoral Hotel, 7.30pm. Dress code smart.
