GAA presidents praise Continental Youth Championships in Boston

The Continental Youth Championships have been taking place in Boston

Three GAA presidents have praised the organisers of the Continental Youth Championships (CYC) in Boston and thanked families from across the United States and Canada.

Kathleen Woods (Camogie Association), Marie Hickey (LGFA) and John Horan (GAA) all attended the five-day event and all were impressed by the commitment of parents who travelled from San Francisco, Ottawa and many more cities to the CYC.

'It's fabulous, just amazing', says Kathleen Woods after her first CYC visit. 'Nothing can prepare you for the amount of people here. The thing that has impacted on me most is the family'.

GAA President John Horan praised the efficiency of the organising committee and said they had done a "phenomenal job."
