ST JOHN’S, BELFAST: The annual celebration dinner takes place on Saturday in the Balmoral Hotel. Also, thank you to the huge numbers who turned out on Saturday to register for the coming year. For those who didn't make it, a final sitting takes place on Saturday, March 10 from 10am-1pm.

ST JOSEPH’S, GLENAVY: The club is holding a registration day on Sunday in Ballymacrickett school from 10am-1pm. Players and non-players must register. New players and new members are welcome to attend. The club is also hosting the Antrim Scór Sinsir final on Sunday at 4pm.in St Clare’s community hall.

PLUNKETT’S, POMEROY: Membership for the year will be taken in the clubrooms after 11am Mass on Sunday. All new members welcome.

ST PATRICK’S, DONAGHMORE: The club extends sympathies to the Robinson and Donaghy families on the passing of Kay. May she rest in peace.

St Mochai’s, Darragh Cross won two Down titles at the county Scor Sinsir finals night on Sunday in Banbridge. Sharlene Neeson won the recitation final for the second year in-a-row, while the Leíruí Staítse (stage presentation) act also got the verdict of the judges. The leirui team included Bernie Sweeney, Rab Branney, Anthony McMahon, Paul Kelly, Eoin Conroy, Gerard Healy and Grainne Lundy. In the solo singing final Sarah McVeigh was narrowly beaten by the Mayobridge act. Congratulations to all our acts for their achievements at both east Down and all county level this year

KEVIN BARRY’S, DERRYLAUGHAN: The Washingbay Green Run takes place on March 24, starting at 10.30am. Visit wbaygreenrun.com to register and for more info on 5K, 10K and half-marathon routes. All members are asked to take part in a litter lift on March 10 at 10.30am - gloves, litter lifters and bags will be distributed from the Washingbay Centre. Also WGR’18 T-shirt Collections for the first 150 online registrations will take place on the same morning from 9am-10am, with limited t-shirts for sale.

GLASDRUMMAN: On Friday night the club thanked its three trustees and founding members of the club - Jimmy Higgins, John Doran and Jim Cunningham. Each has been involved since 195, all three as players and later Jimmy and John as senior team managers. Jim served on the committee as chairman then as treasurer until 2006. A special presentation was made to each of them by chairman Gary McGreevy and treasurer Collette Burden to commemorate their achievements and continued support.

At the All-Antrim Allianz Cumann na mBunscol indoor five a-side finals held at the Antrim Forum, St Patrick's and St Brigid's PS, Ballycastle lifted the camogie and hurling titles. Playing against the winners from the Belfast and South-West sections, the children from the Ballycastle school left the finals unbeaten and go forward to represent Antrim at the Ulster Cumann na mBunscol finals in April at the Meadowbank Venue in Magherafelt
