SUNDAY’S opening National Football League Division Two clash between Derry and Fermanagh has been moved to Celtic Park.

The game was due to take place at Owenbeg but has been switched due to a waterlogged pitch at the Dungiven venue.

It is the second time this month that such a move has occurred, with Derry’s McKenna Cup win over Queen’s also moving to Celtic Park in similar circumstances.

Derry will be hoping that Mark Lynch, Emmett McGuckin, Brendan Rogers and Danny Heavron all recover from injury in time, though Enda Lynn could miss the rest of the League after suffering a broken ankle in Saturday night’s McKenna Cup final defeat by Tyrone.

Fermanagh may have Ryan Jones available for his first game of the season, while Ryan McCluskey and Marty O’Brien might also be included in Pete McGrath’s squad.
