ST JOHN’S GAC, BELFAST: Fit4Life activities resume on Thursday January 7 at 7.15 and Sunday January 10 at 10am. Come along to the club and start getting fit. All stages catered for. Pilates resumes on Tuesday January 12 at 7.30pm

CLONMORE ROBERT EMMETT CLG: The club is holding a special Launch Night in the Community Hall on Saturday January 9 at 8pm. This event is to launch the club’s centenary year. All members, former members, and players, along with the wider community, are invited to attend this unique event. Guest speakers will be in attendance and food will be served. Details of all the events being held to celebrate the centenary year will be released on the night.

GLEANN EALLAIGH NAOMH SEOSAMH: The AGM takes place in Plumbridge this Sunday at 6pm. The Club Calendar is still available in the local outlets, and from Kevin McAnena. Ladies AGM meeting is at 9pm on Friday January 15 in the clubrooms after yoga in Gortin which will be from 7.30-8.30pm – please bring your own mat. Yoga for Men takes place in Plumbridge Parochial Hall on Monday 11 January from 7.30-8.30pm. Please bring an exercise mat. Dinner Dance takes place on January 30 in Fir Trees. Music by Hootin' Annie's. Tickets on sale from usual outlets costing £22.50.

PATRICK SARSFIELD'S: The AGM will take place this Sunday, January 10 at 12.30pm. CLAR is available from club secretary Moya. All members are encouraged to attend.

NAOMH PÓL CLG: 75th Anniversary Mass will take place on Sunday January 10 at 2pm at St Paul’s Church, Cavendish Street, Belfast. This mass is for all members (past and present), familes and friends of Noamh Pól CLG and will be con-celebrated in St. Paul’s Church by Fr Aidan Brankin (St Oliver Plunkett Parish) and Fr Tony Devlin (St Paul’s Parish) to signify Naomh Pól’s move from one parish to another in 1971. Arrangements are as follows: 1.15pm Meet at St Mary’s University College (Falls Road Entrance). 1.40pm 75th Parade for all members, families and friends to St Paul’s Church. 2pm Celebratory Mass begins. 4pm Refreshments back at St Paul’s Clubrooms, Shaws Road. ST MICHAEL'S GAC, LISSAN: The club’s AGM will take place on Wednesday January 13 at 8pm. Gaelic Start programme for 4-6 year olds will begin at Lissan Club rooms on Thursday January 14 from 7-8pm. GYM upgrades are now complete so why not join up and get fit in 2016 - see the club's website for photos and details

KILLYMAN ST MARY’S: There will be a Ceili dance in the Community Centre on January 16 at 9.30pm and it would be great to see as many people there as possible. There will be a family music session in the Community Centre on January 17 at 4pm. Please feel free to come along to this afternoon of music. Geraldine Hetherington will be showcasing her Aloe Vera products in the Community Centre on Thursday January 21 at 7.30pm. There will be an opportunity to sample these products and learn about their benefits. There will also be a prize draw on the night. The club history book can still be purchased from Terry McShane. ARMAGH HARPS: The club will host their annual Youth Registration Morning on Sunday January 17 in the social club from 11am to 1pm. Any child interested in playing for Armagh Harps from nursery to minor for the 2016 season is asked to attend. Youth membership is £10, adult membership is £25 and family membership is £50 (Inc. 2x Over 18s and Unlimited U18s). Parents please note your child is NOT INSURED if this membership fee is not fully paid up. Armagh Harps is encouraging families to consider a family membership as it would like as many parents as possible to also become members of the club.

ST ERGNAT'S GAC, MONEYGLASS: Operation Transformation 2016 registration in the clubroom on Monday January 18 2016. This is open to everyone. Please join up for a great programme of events. Winter Pub Quiz league round 2 in the Crosskeys Inn on Friday January 15. Everyone most welcome.

EDENDORK GAC: Following a highly successful year both on and off the field the club's AGM took place on Sunday. After comprehensive reports were presented by the 2015 Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, the following were elected: Honourary Presidents: Vinny Devlin, Austin Currie, Barney Cavannagh, Frank Cavannagh. Chairman: Martin Morgan. Secretary: Paul Maxwell. Treasurer: Garry Currie. Vice Chairman: Darragh Cullen. County Board Rep: Aidan Currie. Youth Officer: Barry Cullen. Asst Youth Officer: Shane McGuinness. PRO: Stevie McKenna. Registrar: Hugh McReynolds. Culture and Language: Sean Fearon. Camogie Officer: Peter Doherty. Ladies Officer: Donna McCrory. Committee: Brendan Currie, Austin Mooney, Cathal Mallon, Pauline Morgan, Malachy McLernon, Sean Quinn, Joe McGuckin, Mick McGuckin, John Mallon.


The first committee meeting of the year will be this coming Thursday night at 8pm.


The club will be hosting a Dinner Dance this year to celebrate its many achievements over the last number of years. It will take place on Saturday February 20 in the Greenvale Hotel. Tickets will be on sale from next week.


The club is currently finalising arrangements for a cycle from Healy’s Bridge, Prosperous, Co Kildare to Old Engine Bridge, Edendork. The event will take place on the two days of Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May. The club would encourage everyone in the community to get involved. Further details can be seen on the Facebook page. More details will be released in the next week, ahead of an information night later in the month.

RmcBoxFit begin their Boxercise classes for ladies this Tuesday 7-8pm in the Pavilion. Find out more on their Facebook page or call in. Also beginning again this week will be Dance Beat 7-9pm and Irish Dancing.


“Keep fit” continues on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm in the Des Fox pavilion from next week on for all ladies under the direction of Aileen and Annette.
