Forty-eight live games for TG4

IRISH language broadcaster TG4 has confirmed that it will broadcast 48 Gaelic football and hurling matches live or deferred between February 1 and May 9.

The fixture list includes National Football and National Hurling League games, Sigerson and Fitzgibbon Cup action, Club Championship, ladies' football and U21 Championship. The spring schedule begins on February 1, with a double header of Kerry v Mayo (live) and Cork v Dublin (deferred).

A week later, on February 7, Down club Portaferry's All-Ireland club semi-final with Kilmallock (Limerick) will be showcased.

The following day, games featuring Ulster counties Tyrone (v Mayo) and Monaghan (v Cork) will be broadcast. Setanta Sports has already confirmed that it will begin its live National League coverage on January 31, beginning with the north-west derby meeting of Donegal and Derry.
