Gaelic Games on BT Sport's radar

A 2017 bidding war for GAA Championship rights looks increasingly likely after BT Sport executive Grant Best stated that his organisation was interested in adding Gaelic Games to its schedules. Speaking at the Business of Sports Science conference at Dublin's RDS this week, Best said that a future bid is a distinct possibility. "It's very entertaining and I know that terrestrial TV gets very good ratings for it," he said. "It's a sport which is full of entertainment and Sky have those rights at the moment. "We all wait until those cycles come around again to try to bid, but we're interested in adding to our portfolio."
