YOUR heart went out to Colm Cavanagh at times because he looked like a man left to fend for himself.
As you'd expect, the Moy midfielder took some big hits in the midfield bear pit, particularly against Monaghan, but he didn't shirk a single challenge throughout the Red Hands' run.
Cavanagh had three midfield partners in five Championship games - Ciaran Clarke, Conan Grugan and his brother Sean. The Red Hands didn't win masses of primary possession but the younger Cavanagh cannot be faulted for effort.
He just shades Matty Donnelly who also had an impressive season at centre half-back.
