Kerry tactical take...

KERRY'S sweeper system worked well for them up to half-time last week. Mayo had moments of success, but too often their passes were intercepted and Kerry turned the ball over.

Expect the same again from the Kingdom - a man-marking full-back line and a phalanx in the half-back region with the half-forwards dropping deep to help out.

Last week Aidan O'Mahony pushed out to centre half-back to keep tabs on Aidan O'Shea while David Moran looked the best midfielder on the park and scored two excellent points from play.

James O'Donoghue and Paul Geaney combine well up front and the Kingdom will expect more end product from Geaney, who had an excellent game otherwise. If things aren't going well, then they have a Plan B - long, high, Donaghy.
