Team talk...

Fermanagh

Pete McGrath, often depicted as a traditionalist, has been quick to adopt some of the new managerial methods. The Fermanagh team wasn't released to the media until last night.

It's understood that the Fermanagh's starting 15 will feature Barry Owens at full-forward. There is a distinct possibility that Owens will play at full-back where he could mark Niall McKeever or Michael McCann. McGrath's defensive match-ups will have a massive bearing on the final outcome. Johnny Woods is expected to mark Brian 'Ba' Neeson. If Owens goes to fullback, Che Cullen will probably pick up Kevin Niblock. Ryan McCloskey will be deployed as a sweeper.

ANTRIM

It will be a surprise if Antrim play as selected. Paul McCann (24), the youngest of the three McCann brothers has been named at wing-forward. McCann has never played for the Saffron seniors at any level so it would be a huge gamble to throw him in at this level.

Sean McVeigh, listed as a substitute, is expected to start the game at midfield while Niall McKeever or Michael McCann will move to full-forward.

In the absence of goalkeeper Chris Kerr who left the squad, Liam 'Baker' Bradley has recruited Patrick Flood. The 24-year-old is a midfielder for St Enda's, Glengormley but plays in goals for Ballyclare Comrades. Flood also takes long range frees for his club.
