Mark Lynch (Derry) v Karl Lacey (Donegal)
IT'S the ultimate compliment when Jim McGuinness gets Karl Lacey to mark you. Mark Lynch was Derry's best player during the League so it was no great surprise when the Four Masters man saddled up to the Banagher attacker.
Lynch certainly didn't have a bad game; in fact, he hit three frees and scored a great point from play. But Lacey's influence going forward was immense. He got on the scoresheet for Donegal and assisted with a number of scores in either half.
