Karl Lacey (Donegal)
LACEY was pivotal to Donegal's stupendous 2012 and their woes of last season were attributed to his problems with injuries.
He has returned this season fit once more but has been unable to recapture the form of two years ago when he was named Footballer of the Year.
He could be named at corner-back tomorrow but he'll almost certainly start in the half-back line. He could well be the man who picks up Derry dangerman Mark Lynch and is also capable of raiding deep into Derry territory. If Lacey recaptures his old sparkle, Donegal could find theirs too.
