Holders Clonoe to face Errigal

THE last two winners of the Tyrone Senior Football Championship will face each other in a mouth-watering first round clash following last night's draw, writes Cahair O'Kane.

Reigning champions Clonoe will face 2012 winners Errigal Ciaran, who they dethroned at the semi-final stage last year before going on to beat Carrickmore in the final.

The winners will most likely face another of the big guns, Dromore, in the quarter-final after they were paired with Killyclogher. Ardboe, having been off the boil for the past couple of seasons, will face Cookstown, with whoever comes out of that tie facing Moortown or Moy.

Omagh and Carrickmore will have come away happiest of the lot. Carmen were paired with Eskra and then the winners of the Augher v Strabane clash in the quarter-finals, while Omagh will face Coalisland before taking on either Eglish or Donaghmore.
