Key battle...

Michael Darragh Macauley (Dublin) v Anthony Maher (Kerry)

DuBlIn are vulnerable at midfield. Jim Gavin's policy of selecting Cian O'sullivan has yielded mixed results. O'sullivan isn't a great fielder, but he is incredibly fast. Dublin utilise O'sullivan's pace by getting stephen Cluxton to target him with placed kick-outs.

When Meath neutralised Cluxton's placed efforts, and forced him to go long, they destroyed the Dubs at centrefield.

Kerry will try to execute the same plan. If it's a free-for-all at midfield, they will be confident that Anthony Maher can rule the skies.

Hugely under-rated, the 6ft 5in midfielder underlined his credentials in the Munster final when he bossed Cork out of the game.

To win this game, Kerry must dominate midfield and play on the front foot. Michael Darragh Macauley is one of the few Dublin players who routinely performs in the face of adversity. A true leader, he will need to produce the goods against Maher.
