Tullysaran O'COnnell's: Tullysaran O'Connell's would like to remind everyone that the Tullysaran Golf Classic takes place on Friday, August 30 at Armagh Golf Club.

It is £100 to sponsor a hole and it will cost £120 to enter a team of four. The event is sponsored by Stan Corrigan and if any interested participants have any queries regarding times and sponsorship, they can contact Brendan Smyth on 07774631642.

n Glenn GaC: The third annual Run Glenn 10k Road Race & 5k run/ walk event takes place on Sunday, August 25 at Glenn Social Club, Corgary Road, Glenn from 12pm. As in previous years, the route will be very well-organised and marshalled with two water-stops available. Last year the 10k event attracted 150 participants with the 5k completed by over 100 families, runners and walkers.

First past the post will be presented with the Supervalu-Good Food Shop 10k Perpetual Cup and there will be prizes for 1, 2 & 3 female and male Finishers.

All participants will also be automatically entered into an excellent post-race raffle - meaning everyone can be a winner on the day. Participants can register online now for the 10k (www.runireland.com), or alternatively registration for both distances takes place on the day (from 10.30am to 12pm) at the Glenn Social Club.

n WOlfe TOne & sT enDa's GaC, DerrymaCash: Wolfe Tones and St Enda's will be holding a 10k run and 5k fun run and walk at 12pm on Sunday, August 25.

Entry to the 10k run is £10 with £100 prizes for the first male and the first female to finish the course. Entry to the 5k fun run and walk is £5.

n sT malaChy's, eDenDOrk: Show time is almost here. Saturday, September 7 promises to be a fantastic night's entertainment. Dancers have been putting in a lot of practice over the last few months and now the competition is really setting in.

Those who are fortunate to get tickets for the night will also be treated to top class exhibition dancing. Tickets are available from all dancers or via the ticket hotline on 07841 927437. Get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

n ClOnDuff Gaa: The club is running another outdoor cinema on Sunday, August 25.

Family favourite Shrek will be commencing at 8.30pm and gates will be open at 7.30pm.

n BallyhOllanD harps: On Saturday, August 24, Ballyholland Harps GAC will be hosting their annual U8 Nanny Kearney Memorial Football Tournament. Registration at 9.30am and throw-in at 10am.

n CasTlerahan GaC: Next week's camp will take place in Kingspan Breffni Park 3G pitch from 10am to 1pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It costs just e10 which is once again super value and super fun for all children. It's a great chance to meet new friends, learn new skills and meet top inter-county stars. Spread the word.

n sT JOhn's BOsCO: Help is required for the Bosco annual U12 girls' tournament on Saturday, August 31. Plans are now well advanced

for this year's big event and the eight teams taking part are Bosco, Warrenpoint, Clan na Gael, Rostrevor, Carrickcruppin, Saval, Dromintee and Clonduff.

There are plenty of jobs to be done on the day; from setting up the pitches to acting as umpires, referees, scorekeepers and general helpers. We also need some people to help out with the catering in Whitegates. The tournament starts at 10am and should be completed by 2.30pm.

n maGhery GaC: The Loughshore 10K & 5K Run will take place on Saturday, August 24.

Registration is still available online and will be available on the morning of the event prior to the 10am start. Check out www.loughshore10k.com for further details.

n DrumraGh sarsfielDs: The Cannonball Run Cycle in association with CLIC Sargent and Opt for Life is taking place on Sunday, September 8. Registration for the event is £15. Please contact Michelle Cox at secretary.drumraghsarsfields.tyrone@ gaa.ie for further details.

n rOslea shamrOCks: On Sunday, August 25 Roslea Shamrocks will host a 125 Family Fun Day and officially open the new 211-seater stand. Entertainment for all the family begins at 2pm.

A commemorative photograph of all players, from toddler to senior, members and supporters is scheduled for 3pm so everyone is encouraged to attend wearing their club colours. On Monday, August 26, the Cairde Seamróga 125 Golf Classic will be held at Rossmore Golf Club, Monaghan. Tee times can still be booked by contacting Kevin Boyle on 00353 8632 92843.

n Cumann pheaDair naOfa,WarrenpOinT: Launch of C.P.N. Social Initiative Project: The launch of the Cumann Pheadair Naofa (C.P.N.) Social Initiative Project, targeted at persons aged 50 years and older, takes place in the clubrooms, Mary Street on Wednesday, August 28 at 7pm.

Following the recent launch of the C.P.N. Healthy Club Project, Seamus Murphy, a former player and chairman of C.P.N. has been appointed the GAA Social Initiative co-ordinator for Cumann Pheadair Naofa.

The objective of the GAA Social Initiative is to develop and expand the social reach of GAA clubs, making them inclusive and reflective of all the community both young and old. This is consistent with C.P.N.s desire to operate at the heart of its local community for whole of family, for whole of life. All are welcome to attend.

n sT paTriCk's mayOBriDGe: The club continues its 125 celebrations on Sunday with a special Mass at 11.15am in St Patrick's Church after which the Mayobridge Accordion Band will lead a parade to the football grounds.

This will be followed by a Family Sports Day and all Mayobridge people are invited to attend to join in the celebrations of this special year in the club's long history.

n saval GaC: Gaelic 4 Mother's Training continues on Thursday from 6.45pm to 8pm.

Attendances have been great, so let's keep it going.

A number of challenge games will be arranged in preparation for the National Blitz in October. National G4MO Blitz Day - Saturday, October 19 in Dublin (Naomh Mearnog GAA Club Portmarnock).
