Club Call - every Thursday

A community clean-up took place in Crossmaglen last Saturday. The event was spearheaded by the Rangers men's senior squad and over 100 volunteers from the U14s upwards helped out. As a result, Crossmaglen and the surrounding areas are a cleaner and more attractive place in which to live

ÓGRA COLMCILLE: There will be a fun day this Saturday at the football field. Running from 10am to 4pm, it will include hurling skills, face painting, drama, races, bouncy castles, vintage cars and tractors. Everyone is welcome. At 8pm, the annual duck race will take place down the Drummullan River. Ducks £5 each. £100 prize to winning duck.

ST JOHN'S, DRUMNAQUOILE: The club has made a block booking for 40 rooms for the night of the gala ball on November 4. The rate is £120 per double/twin room, inclusive of full Irish breakfast. Phone the Carrickdale on (+353) 42 938 0900 and quote St John's Gala.

GLASDRUMMAN: The club bingo session continues at 8.30pm on Thursdays. The usual return bus is available from Kilkeel, Ballymartin and Annalong.

Thanks to all who turned up for this week's workshop on Amhrán na bhFiann. We hope to run another one this Sunday at 6pm in the clubrooms. Anyone interested, please contact Tony via the club Facebook page.

DONAGHMORE: This summer, Donaghmore will be running a competition to see every destination where the blue-and-amber of the club is on show. If you are on holidays, travelling or live abroad, bring your Donaghmore jersey/gear and submit a photo via Twitter/Facebook. We will share all entries and, in September, we will draw a winner. Top prize is a new Donaghmore playing jersey and ¼ zip.
