Dungannon Swifts v Crusaders (today, 3pm)

VICTORY over Crusaders at Stangmore Park last month proved to be a false dawn for the Tyrone men and they had lost six on-the-spin before last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Carrick.

With a top six spot on the line, Stephen Baxter’s Crues will be determined to set the record straight this afternoon against the bottom-of-the-table outfit.

Prediction: Crusaders

Ballymena United v Coleraine (today, 3pm)

LAST weekend’s 2-1 loss against Linfield means that David Jeffrey’s men cannot force their way into the top six but Coleraine could leapfrog Glentoran (depending on the result of last night’s clash v Larne at Inver Park) if they can pick up three points.

Prediction: Coleraine

Cliftonville v Carrick Rangers (today, 3pm)

AN unexpected 2-1 loss at Portadown’s Shamrock Park brought Cliftonville’s unbeaten run to an end and with top six football in the offing, Paddy McLaughlin will expect to see a reaction from his players at Solitude this afternoon.

Meanwhile, second-from-bottom Carrick haven’t won since they beat Portadown in March. They’ve lost four of their seven games since but did grind out three draws.

Prediction: Cliftonville

Warrenpoint Town v Portadown (today, 3pm)

THESE two have been heading in opposite directions lately and the Ports’ upturn in form has seen them make up ground on the county Down side. They are both on 27 points but Warrenpoint haven’t won in their last dozen games in the league while the Ports have won three of the last four and go into the game on the back of a 2-1 success against Larne which saw them leapfrog Barry Gray’s men.

Prediction: Portadown
