AIDAN Wilson struck to give Crusaders their second win on the bounce at the Showgrounds on Friday. After the Crues had been denied by a series of Jordan Williamson saves, Wilson poked home in the 75th-minute. Paul McElroy spurned the chance to equalise from the spot.

COLERAINE’S title challenged suffered another setback on Saturday as they were held to a goalless draw at Ballycastle Road. The Bannsiders twice hit the woodwork in the second-half through Eoin Bradley and Stewart Nixon but they couldn’t find a breakthrough.

A RUAIDHRÍ Donnelly brace helped Glentoran to a comfortable victory at the Oval. Robbie McDaid and Andy Mitchell also scored as the Glens made it four wins in-a-row.

LARNE kept in the top-three hunt with victory in the East Antrim derby at Inver Park. Lee Lynch scored either side of an Andrew Mitchell penalty to cap a comfortable win.

LINFIELD stayed out in front of the chasing pack with victory at Stangmore Park. Jordan Stewart tapped in from Matthew Clarke's low cross after four minutes while Shayne Lavery sealed the win in injury-time.
