The Northern Ireland senior women’s international squad are in training camp this weekend, stepping up preparations ahead of their Euro 2022 qualifier away to Belarus next Tuesday, October 27.

Kenny Shiels's team probably need to win their final three matches, with a return game against Belarus and then the Faroe Islands next month, and hope that Norway beat Wales next week - which would result in NI getting into a play-off for the tournament to take place in England in the summer of 2022.

Electric Ireland are proud supporters of women's football in Northern Ireland, as title sponsor of the Northern Ireland senior women’s international team and the wider player pathway.

Anne Smyth, sponsorship lead at Electric Ireland said: “It is fantastic to see the Northern Ireland senior women’s international squad on the pitch again after an incredibly challenging few months.

"Despite the ongoing pandemic, the hard work and determination of the entire senior team is so inspiring, and it makes us proud to support Northern Ireland’s football community for women and girls through our Game Changers Campaign. I would like to wish the team safe travels to Belarus and the very best of luck next week.”
