(Kick-offs: 7.45pm)

Cliftonville v Glenavon

CLIFTONVILLE host Glenavon at Solitude with the Reds hoping to get their first win of the season after a 1-1 draw with Oran Kearney’s Coleraine on Saturday.

Joe Gormley paid tribute to the late Tommy Breslin with an equaliser in the 88th minute to secure an away draw for Paddy McLaughlin’s side.

This fixture has always proven entertaining, with 36 goals coming in their last 10 meetings.

Cliftonville’s record goalscorer Joe Gormley getting off the mark in the first game of the season may be an indicator for how the talisman’s season will pan out.

Odds: H: 11/10 D: 23/10 A: 2/1

Verdict: Cliftonville

Glentoran v Coleraine

THE Bannsiders are hoping to continue their impressive record against the Glens with six wins and three draws in their last nine meetings.

Glentoran’s last win over Coleraine came in March 2016. Dutch winger Elvio van Overbeek is expected to make his debut, with the former PSV Eindhoven man hoping to make an impact.

Odds: H: 15/8 D: 12/5 A 6/5

Verdict: Draw

Warrenpoint v Crusaders

ON the back of a heavy defeat to newly-promoted Larne, Warrenpoint host Crusaders at Milltown.

It’s a case of youth v experience as Warrenpoint had the youngest side on the opening day of the season, with the average age of just 23.6 years old.

The Crues, however, had the oldest side on the day averaging 29.2 years old.

Crusaders will be hoping to get their second win from two games as Stephen Baxter’s men will be optimistic of a good 2019/20 season.

Odds: H: 6/1 D: 7/2 A 4/11

Verdict: Crusaders

Carrick Rangers v Larne

THE two new boys go head to head at Taylor’s Avenue as Carrick Rangers welcome Larne. Larne will find this a stronger test than Saturday’s game with Warrenpoint.

The playing surface at Carrick will undeniably make the game more difficult than the slick artificial pitch at Inver Park.

Odds: H: 5/1 D: 18/5 A 4/11

Verdict: Larne

Institute v Dungannon Swifts

DUNGANNON Swifts head to the Brandywell to face Institute. On Saturday, Institute took the lead against Linfield through a Joe McCready penalty, but the lead was the height of their success that day as Linfield went on to take a 3-1 win.

Dungannon will be encouraged from their 2-2 draw with Ballymena, when a late penalty by Seanan Clucas (inset) salvaged a point.

Odds: H: 7/4 D: 12/5 A; 5/4
