Goalkeeper Scott Bain on his way to Celtic
CELTIC looked set to sign goalkeeper Scott Bain and could make it a Dundee double by bringing in Jack Hendry.
Bain has quit a loan spell with Hibernian in a complex deal which sees Celtic midfielder Scott Allan swap his Dundee loan for Hibs and Simon Murray move in the opposite direction to Dens Park.
Hibs head coach Neil Lennon told BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound: "Scott's on his way to Glasgow, Simon's on his way to Dundee and Scott Allan's on his way to Edinburgh."
Celtic earlier had a second £375,000 bid for Motherwell keeper Trevor Carson rejected as they sought cover for the injured Craig Gordon and they hope to succeed with an improved offer for 22-year-old Dundee defender Hendry.
