Linfield can keep stranglehold over their big Belfast rivals

Danske Bank Premiership

Ards v Coleraine

COLERAINE are five from five and are setting the pace at the summit in terrific fashion. They have a nice blend of youth and experience in their ranks and the win at Crusaders was a big statement from the Bannsiders. Ards have not started well so well this season and will struggle to get anything from this clash.

Prediction: Coleraine

Odds: H: 3/1 D: 11/4 A: 8/11

Cliftonville v Dungannon Swifts

THE Reds are struggling to find their feet under new boss Barry Gray, both in attack and defence. They have only managed three league goals since their opening day six-goal haul against Ards. The Solitude faithful will be hoping that it clicks soon. The Swifts are seeking a third consecutive win, but may fall prey to the hunger of the hosts.

Prediction: Cliftonville

Odds: H: 8/13 D: 11/4 A: 7/2

Linfield v Glentoran

THE champions have taken up where they left off last year and have fired off four wins from four without the concession of a single goal. The Glens are also unbeaten and new boy Robbie McDaid is in good form for them, having grabbed three goals in three matches to date. The east Belfast side have not won at Windsor Park in the league since 2014, however, and the hosts can claim the derby day bragging rights.

Prediction : Linfield

Odds: H: 1/2 D: 3/1 A: 9/2

Warrenpoint Town v Ballymena United

FOUR losses from their opening five games spells worry for the Seasiders, who have bounced straight back into the premiership after a season away. The upside is that they have been competitive in all their games bar the 5-0 loss to Crusaders. The Sky Blues have not started well either, but may edge this encounter.

Prediction: Ballymena United

Odds: H: 9/4 D: 13/5 A: 10/11

Ballinamallard United v Crusaders

CRUSADERS have had a good start to the season, with a loss to Coleraine the only blot on their copybook so far. They have added depth and quality to their squad and are certain to be right in the mix at the business end of the season. The Mallards have had a fairly dismal start to their campaign, and the Crues can add to their misery.

Prediction: Crusaders

Odds: H: 15/2 D: 9/2 A: 2/7
