DUNDALK'S Daryl Horgan has joined team-mate Andy Boyle at Preston NE, it has been confirmed.

It was widely expected the Lilywhites winger would get his cross-channel move after a fantastic season for the Airtricity League champions. Both Horgan and central-defender Boyle were called up to Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland senior team for last month's World Cup qualifier against Austria.

"Both players have had great seasons in their league and in Europe," said Preston boss Simon Grayson.
