CRUSADERS extended their Premiership lead to seven points as Linfield lost 2-1 to Cliftonville.

David Cushley grabbed a stoppage time winner to secure a 1-0 win over Ards while Cliftonville substitute Ross Lavery netted a last-gasp winner over Linfield.

The first half at Windsor Park was a drab affair with neither side making much headway. Cliftonville took the lead on 52 minutes through Daniel Hughes.

Linfield's Andrew Waterworth levelled with seven minutes remaining but Lavery bundled in the winner after an initial effort came off the post.

Glenavon and Glentoran shared the spoils at Mourneview Park.

Glentoran started the game much the brighter. On 23 minutes, Ciaran Caldwell looked to have opened the scoring only to rattle the crossbar with a 20-yard curling effort.

However, it fell to Glenavon's Joel Cooper to break the deadlock moments later. Greg Moorhouse did well to use his pace to speed past Jay Magee before drawing Elliott Morris and laying ball off for Cooper to slot home.

But the Glens levelled 20 minutes into the second half through Magee when he stole in to get on the end of a Foley free-kick to nod the ball past Johnny Tuffey in off the underside of the bar.

A late Eoin Kirwan goal earned Portadown a draw against Carrick.

The deadlock was broken just after the hour mark. The ball fell for Adam Salley inside the box, he did well to turn and fire a low effort hard beyond 'keeper Chris McGaughey. The Ports levelled with eight minutes remaining through substitute Eoin Kirwan after he fired past Neeson following good play from Garrett and Sean Mackle.

Coleraine came from an early goal down to claim all three points from Ballinamallard United's visit to The Showgrounds.

Shane McGinty opened the scoring for the Mallards after 11 minutes.

The Bannsiders levelled on 20 minutes after Jamie McGonigle flicked the ball on for Jordan Allan to supply the finish past James McGrath.

Oran Kearney's side edged into the lead on 73 minutes through substitute James McLaughlin with a scrambled finish after the ball fell loose from a McGrath save.

Any hopes of a comeback were quashed with a couple of minutes remaining when Liam McMenamin conceded a penalty after bringing down Allan in the box with McCafferty stepping up to successfully fire past McGrath.

Ballymena slipped to fifth after losing 4-1 at home to Dungannon Swifts.
