IT'S official – Northern Ireland are through to the last 16 of Euro 2016.
After losing 1-0 to Germany, Michael O’Neill’s men were waiting on other results to see if they would make it through, but they didn’t have to wait long.

Results in a few hours later saw Turkey finish third in Group D on three points, the same as Northern Ireland, but with an inferior goal difference – meaning the Green And White Army are guaranteed to be one of the the four best third-placed teams.
And it was time to celebrate for fans.

Now all that’s left to sort out is who they’ll be playing.
Northern Ireland have qualified for the last 16 of Euro 2016. They will meet either Wales or France #nir #gawa

As it stands, it looks like being France – but it could also be Wales. And wouldn’t that be a tasty clash?
